We are pleased to announce that Cindy Reed has accepted a new role as President of Sammons Securities Company (SSC).

As President, Cindy will be responsible for setting the strategy; focusing on recruiting new registered representatives; and growing life and annuity sales.

Cindy joined Sammons Financial Group in 2001 as Vice President responsible for sales and marketing for North American Annuities. Cindy added responsibility for sales and marketing of Variable Annuities in 2003. Cindy was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Sammons Annuity Group with responsibility for all fixed and variable annuities sold by Midland National Life Insurance Company and North American Life Insurance Company in 2006. Cindy's leadership resulted in total premiums of $ 3.78 billion for 2008 – a record year for the Sammons Annuity Group.
